Chapter 18
In the beginning, Katniss loses Rue after the boy from District 1 shoots her. Katniss gets a word of hope in the evening from the Capitol that two winners could be crowned instead of one.
Question: Katniss seems to become numb after Rue's death. How does Katniss behave? Why do you think this happened? Why is she acting this way?
Chapter 19
Katniss finds Peeta, and he is in bad shape. Since Katniss's mother is a healer, she tries to remember how her mother has helped people in the past in order to help Peeta right now.
Question: Katniss is a hunter. She learned these skills from her father. Prim, on the other hand, has learned healing skills from her mother. On page 256, Katniss says, "Ironically, at this point in the Games, my little sister would be of far more use to Peeta than I am." Describe the differences between Prim and Katniss in terms of their skills. Be specific and use examples.
Chapter 20
Katniss and Peeta hide out in the cave, but Peeta's situation becomes worse as time goes on. Towards the end of the chapter, the Capitol invites the tributes to a feast because each of them needs something to help them. Peeta tells Katniss not to go because he doesn't want her to risk her life for him, but she sneaks away in the night.
Question: How is Katniss able to sneak away from Peeta? What is it that she gets at the feast?
Chapter 21
Katniss heads to the Cornucopia and engages in battle with another tribute, but she is able to escape.
Question: Summartize what takes place at the Cornucopia. Be specific.
Chapter 22
Katniss returns to the cave, and she tells Peeta everything that happened. Peeta tells Katniss that he knows the girl from District 2 died. Towards the end of the chapter, they acquire a feast thanks to Haymitch and the sponsers.
Question: Why did Katniss and Peeta receive a gift from Haymitch and the sponsers? What do they have to do to continue to receive these gifts?
Chapter 23
In this chapter, Katniss and Peeta find out that Thresh has died which means that there are only 4 tributes left (Katniss, Peeta, Cato and Foxface). They decide to leave the cave to hunt for food since they are running low on supplies. In the end, Peeta ends up unintentionally killing Foxface.
Question: What does Katniss think of Peeta's hunting skills? In what ways does he help her? In what ways does he not help her? Also, how does Peeta kill Foxface?
Chapter 18
ReplyDeleteKatniss became very sad because she told Rue that she will help her anytime. Before Rue's dying, she told Katniss to win the game. Also, she told Katniss to sing any song. Katniss remembered her sister Brim when Rue said that because she only sang for her sister Brim. Anyway Katniss start signing. Katniss promised Rue that she will win the game for them than Rue died. After Rue's dying, Katniss got a flowers and put them on Rue's body to show the capitol that whatever they do or force them there, they can't own them. After that, Katniss said bye and left Rue's body.
Chapter 20
when Katniss saw Peeta, his situation was not good. He was feel cold and fever. In fact, he was very injured. Katniss decided to bring that feast what the Gamemakers sent for all tribute who still alive. Peeta doesn't want Katniss to go because he doesn't want to risk her life for him. In order to get away from Peeta to bring that feast, Katniss let him drank all the soup to drift him to sleep. Then when Peeta got sleep, she went to bring the feast. Probably that feast is a food or medicine for Katniss and Peeta to make them feel better to continue the game.
In chapter 20, Katniss uses sleep syrup to make Peeta sleep so she can sneak away.

ReplyDeleteKatniss was argue with Peeta because she want to go to Cornucopia to get the medicine for Peeta. She gave him another dose of fever medicine before he goes off his head completely. She went to the stream to wash up and she was thinking is that he is going to die if she didn't get to the feast. Then, she was spring after it, yanking from the water, tearing off the silver fabric to retrieve the vial. Katniss got from the feast backpack with medicine make the fever for Peeta go down and I think the medicine is liquid.
In chapter 21 Katniss gave Peeta a kiss then she went. At the first ray of sun glints off the gold Cornucopia. There was a disturbance on the plain. The ground before the mouth of the horn splits in two and a round table with a snowy white cloth rises into the arena. On the table sit 4 backpacks. Katniss wants to take the backpack for her. Katniss's hand slips between the straps. And she yank it up on her arm, and she's turning to fire when the second knife catches her in the forhead. Tacking the backpack, Katniss got sliced by the knife.
You are missing some important information from Chapter 21. Who throws the knife at Katniss? Who attacks her? Most importantly, how does she escape? All these questions are important details from the chapter.

Katniss thing how she can get a Peeta a medicine to become a better. then Katniss though fhe can bring it the medicine from another place but Peete did not allow to Katniss go to any where. because he worried bout Katniss. then they get a problem between katniss and petta because Petta did not allow to Katniss to go faraway from his but Katniss she will go but then katniss sty with petta and she has some medicine and she give petta some of them. petta become alright.then they go out from cave.
in chapter 18.
Katniss fell very sad and angry, when she saw Rue die in she cant do in thing. Rue talk to katniss give her a promise she will win in this game. after Rue die katniss craiing then she collect the bodies to put it in the ground. Katniss steps back and she takes a last look at Rue.Katniss talk to her self Rue will be in that aeadow after all. Katniss say bye to Rue , then she whisper. Katniss press the three middle fingers of her left hand against her lips and she hold them out in her direction. Katniss walk away without looking back.
In chapter 20, Haymitch sends Katniss some sleep syrup to put Peeta to sleep so she can go to the cornucopia and get the medicine for him.
Deletepeeta was wounded in the leg when she found him. she set all night with peeta . in morning she drunk him water. because of his temprtrue is high. after that she eats him some berries. and she should be medication`s peeta so that not blood poisoning and kill him. he asked her anout happy day . and she can`t tell her story in front the camera.

she want to kill from far. she can`t sleep because she think for her family. due of tomorrow is holiday. she need to sit in place near the Cornucopia to see who shows up. she kick herself because don't thinking of hiding in the Cornucopia. and she tells Thresh she was Rue and that she killed Rue

DeleteIn chapter 21, there is more information that you are missing. She does speak to Thresh, but does she meet another tribute? Also, she did not tell Thresh that she killed Rue because the boy from District 1 killed Rue. Be careful about each detail and how it changes the story.

Katniss got that because she sad about Rue and in the beginning she promised her to be together and she will help her any time. Also last week Rue helped her. During Rue was dying katniss song for her the same song that she was singing to her sister because Rue asked her to do that. After that she promised her to win in the game. At the end katniss got flowers and but it on Rue body. She did that to inform the capital what ever they do will not own them. They will be freedom.
They got gifts when Katniss talked to peeta a romantic situation. And made the the people who are watching the game in the same situation. She did that with hiding the truth. Also because they do what hatmich told them to be together. She did that because she know they will give her a gift like a basket of food. They have to still together and help each other to continue getting gifts.

Katniss became very angry when Rue died because she promises her to save her live. Also, Katniss killed the first tribute by her bow that makes her feel sad. When Rue died Katniss decorate her body she use flower. Katniss acting this way to show the capitol, they can’t own them. Also, Rue before dying told Katniss to song to her .When Katniss sing the birds became singing because the bird when they hear Rue singing they start singing. At the end Katniss left Rue body.
Chapter 19
In my opinion Katniss is bravest than her sister because she put herself in her situatine when she volunteer as tributes. But, Brim has skill that she can help people, and when katniss said lronically she mean that her sister can help Peeta because he is very injured. In other hand, Katniss better then Brim when she hunts such as, she hunts to bring food for the people as we took at the beginning of this story.
Even her sister can help people, Katniss help Peeta, she treats that small burns. Katniss used leaves to help Peeta, probably she learned from Rue. Any way .Katniss help Peeta and he felt more better than before.
