During chapters 7-11, the tributes finish their training and the Hunger Games begin. Below are the highlights from each chapter.
CHAPTER 7
After discussing their skills with Haymitch, Peeta and Katniss head to group training with the other tributes. After these group training sessions are over, the tributes perform individually and alone in front of the Gamemakers.
CHAPTER 8
In the beginning of the chapter, Katniss appears upset over her performance in front of the Gamemakers. Many fears run through her mind. Fortunately, the Gamemakers award her a high score. While Peeta gets a good score, the score Katniss received was much higher. Peeta decides that he would like to be coached separately from Katniss.
CHAPTER 9
While Katniss is upset and feels betrayed, she continues on with her training. After spending some time training with Effie, she finishes up the day with Haymitch. Neither training session goes well, and Katniss is left feeling hopeless. Fortunately, Cinna gives Katniss a ray of hope, which eases her stress and prepares her for her interview with Caesar Flickerman.
CHAPTER 10
Katniss is angry with Peeta for what he said in his interview, but everyone else seems to think Peeta's interview responses are only a benefit to Katniss in terms of her getting sponsers. The night before the games, she struggles to sleep. Finally, the day of the Hunger Games has arrived. Before entering the arena, a woman puts a tracker under Katniss's skin in her forearm. Cinna returns the mockingjay pin to Katniss. She is lifted up into the arena as the Games begin.
CHAPTER 11
For one minute, the tributes stand ready to either run, fight, or collect supplies that have been placed on the ground at different distances from them. Katniss remembers the advice she's been given, but the supplies are tempting her to ignore that advice. After collecting a few supplies, she tries to put distance between her and the other tributes. She finds a hiding place and tries to stay hidden for the night.

1. Summarize what Katniss does during her individual training session with the Gamemakers. What do you think she was feeling? How would you feel in that situation?
2. After the individual training sessions, the Gamemakers give out scores and broadcast those scores on television for all of Panem. Explain the scoring system. What scores did Katniss and Peeta receive? How would you feel if you were Peeta? How would you feel if you were Katniss?
3. Why do you think Peeta asked to be coached separately? Would you have asked to be coached separately or would you have continued to be coached with Katniss? Why or why not?
4. What happened during Peeta's interview with Ceasar Flickerman? What did they talk about and why did this anger Katniss? Should she have gotten so angry? Explain your opinion.
5. Summarize Chapter 11. Then explain what happens toward the end of the chapter that surprises Katniss. How would you feel in this situation?

4- In Peeta's interview with Ceasar Fliferman, Peeta and ceasar Flikerman talked about the Capitol, and the different between Capitol and District 12.Also Ceasar Flikerman asked Peeta about his life in the Capitol. Other things, Ceasar Flikerman asked Peeta if he has special girlfriend in district 12. Peeta looked worry from that question, but he answered the question. Peeta said he only like one girl from his district. Then ceasar said, probably when you won the game and return to your home she must go with you. After that, Peeta said she can't; because she came with me" He mean Katniss". When katniss heard that on the television she became very angry; because Peeta never tell her about his emotion, also he said he will coached alone. In other hands, Katniss probably worry about her boyfriend Gale.

1- she waited until they call her. she went to the gym and looked around. she noticed many men and one women. some of them have notes. she picked the weapon up. after that she felt something wrong and realized that the weapon is different than that she used in district 12. she got the first arrow and throw ed away. and the second because she wanted to feel it. she throw tow arrow through the target. she felt nervousness and in the beginning she felt in the the problem but after that session she felt better because did well.
ReplyDeleteif i was in the same situation i don't know exactly what would i feel but i think i will be nervousness and feel stress and pressure and i would not do will.
4- Peata's interview with Ceasar Flickerman starts with a lot of fun and laughing. However, it end up with little sadness emotion. Flickerman begin by ask Peata the different between where he come from and here. Peata answer in funy way by say the shower is different. The last question is asked by Flickerman about Peata has girl friend or not. Peata answers by no. Peata adds that he loves a girl so much and is here with him. Katniss gets so angry of that. I think she has the right to be angery. Because she doesn't like Peata at all. Peata love is only in one side. Also, she already in love with Gale. This is why she very angry about him.

all players stand ina metal circle. she ask herself if she stay to fight for tent, food, weapons, medicine. After that she look the bow and arrow. she think if sprints can take that because she is fast. She sees another tribute get a knife in the back and then runs for it – getting a knife. afternoon, she hears the cannons 11 times. this cannons are someone killed. After that she need the water. she remember to see lake near the Cornucopia. if she take a water, she need to walk one day for back.

I feel in this situation in some afraid and need to kill any people to see even I can live
In this chapter , Katniss find her self between the tree and she ill and she cant understand what happened to her. Some boys flow Katniss to kill her so, Katniss run a way and she clumping to the tree. Some boys and one girl they sty under the tree waiting Katniss until she coming down. Then , Katniss saw one girl clumping on the tree the girl give her one ideaif she wants they run a way from her. The idea it Katniss cut the tree then throw the tree branch to they boys because when she throw the tree branch they will run a way then she can descend from the tree.The girl help Katniss she die. Then , Katniss with another girl from district 9 becouse she kill the small girl. Also, the black men come to this girl and kill her. Katniss like the small girl because she help her. Katniss found to his friend close the river but he sick . Katniss relived Peeta is alive. She told no surprise there. If I become in this situation I will surprise because my friend still life. She tell her self again that if she get killed, her winning will benefit her mother and prim . this is what tell her self to explain the conflcting emotions that arise when she think of Peeta.

Who is the girl who helps Katniss? You said she is dead, but if you are talking about Rue, she is still alive in these chapters. You are not summarizing what we have read in these chapters, but it seems that you are summarizing things that may happen later in the book. Are you watching the movie? If you are watching the movie, you may be submitting the wrong information because the answer to the questions are in the book.
Deletefirst, They call her name, she know she is in trouble. She choose a bow, string it, and sling the matching quiver of arrows over her shoulder. Then she pick her first target, she shoot again and again until she get the feel of these new weapons. After that, she turn to the Gamemarkers. She pull an arrow from her quiver and send it straight at Gamemarkers' table. the arrow skewers the apple in the pig's mouth and pins it to the wall behind it. Finally, she walk straight toward the exit without being dismissed. She is baffle and feel she can't do anything. If I am in this situation I feel like her and if I can Pull out of the game I will do
